I make photographs
of places and objects that speak to me of times gone by, or events yet to come.
These places often have a life and purpose, at other times their existence has
passed and they sit silently, waiting for whatever the future may hold. The world
is changing at an ever increasing pace, and I am hoping to document these places
as a "Remembrance of Things Past", much in the manner of the FSA photographers
of the 30's and 40's. There will come a time when many of the places from the
world that we have known will be gone, replaced by an evermore homogeneous, plastic
sprawl of modern culture. - | |
