Dean Waite is known for his detailed renderings of marine subjects and aviation history. His brush can capture the snapping of a racing yacht's spinnaker and the fury of a WWII dogfight high in the skies over France. Some of his favorite subjects are the "great ladies", the ocean liners that plied their trade from New York to Europe during the heyday of ocean travel.
